This is a tribute; to the tortured creator in all of us, to the secret battles we wage, to the soft sweater of darkness we tuck in our souls to wear when we are alone. This gourd, a light, an homage to 1990’s youth, and the shadows we carry to adulthood. May they find peace in the ever after, as they left their passions, pain, and beauty behind for us all to hold like an eternal flame.
